    I ate my pre-run breakfast, hot tea, toast with peanut butter, one banana, and a small yogurt. It’s the morning of my first ever 5K Turkey Trot. I put on my running shorts, shirt and socks.     I’m not getting any younger

    I have been in the first book of the Bible, Genesis, and reading the whole story about Sarah and Abraham. Sarah wanted a baby so bad. So bad that she took the whole timing of the issue into her own hands. Sarah wanted to rush the plan of God. She wanted it now. In her timing.     Sometimes we are so into our current life. You know the part where we are smack dab in the middle of it and we don’t remember our beginnings and we can’t see the end. Maybe pausing to remind ourselves where we come from might help us embrace where we are and get us to where we are going. The first book of the Bible is titled Genesis; which means the beginning.
